Danny received his BA in English from Loyola University New Orleans and an MA in the same field from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He first started his career as a journalist. His work is published at the National Association of Black Journalists, where he interviewed and worked closely with White House correspondents and journalists from CBS, NPR, and the Boston Globe! Danny left journalism to become a teacher. From 2012 to the present, he has taught a plethora of humanities subjects, especially English, to a range of students: elementary through college. Currently, he is an English instructor at Louisiana State University, where he teaches composition and literature.
