Get To Know Tiffany!

Get to know Tiffany

Tiffany is one of our talented tutors here at Studyville. Her personal passion is Biological Engineering, but she’s been helping students with a wide range of subjects for over 7 years! She’s been with Studyville® since the beginning, and we think you’ll enjoy getting to know her as much as we have.

What subjects do you tutor in?

I tutor mainly math and science subjects, but the first subject I ever tutored in was Latin.

What do you like about tutoring?

The most satisfying part of tutoring for myself is seeing students’ faces transform from looks of confusion into realization, understanding, and eventually joy from finally grasping the material.

What was your hardest subject in school?

I was never a star at history throughout middle and high school.

What’s the coolest thing about Studyville’s space?

The coolest thing about Studyville’s space is the combination of private study rooms and the at-large area to provide students with a space that suits their needs comfortably. I’ve always seen Studyville as a mix between a library and student union but with tutors as a nice bonus. Our students, however, would probably think the coolest thing about Studyville is our coffee and hot chocolate machine.

School cafeteria lunch or pack your own?

When I was in high school, I ate the food served in the dining hall. Looking back at it now though, I would probably pack my food now instead of eating cafeteria lunch.

What was your first car?

My first and current car is a Honda Accord Hybrid. It’s convenient being able to go two weeks between having to refill on gas.

If you could study abroad anywhere, all expenses paid, where would you choose?

I would love to study abroad in South Korea or Japan. They’re known for their cutting-edge advancements in science and technology but still maintain the traditional cultural atmosphere that I would like to experience someday.
