A return home and a subsequent murder on the beach bring back unsolved mysteries of the past for Kieran, forever marked by his brother’s death by this small coastal town. Setting is in Australia, so teens may need to adjust to the lingo. Studyville gives an overall rating of PG-13, there are a couple of swear words that you almost miss and there IS a murder. Honestly, the author does a good job of keeping things clean. The novel becomes more and more of a page turner as the mystery unfolds.
